Last Updated: December 22, 2023
1. Introduction
Welcome to Scribert! We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information through your use of Scribert.
2. Information We Collect
- Personal Information: When you register for an account, we collect your email address and password. We do not store any user billing information.
- Usage Data: We collect data related to your usage of the app, such as access dates and times.
- Voice Notes: The voice notes you record are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage.
3. Use of Information
Your information is used to provide our service, manage your account, communicate with you, and process transactions through Stripe for subscriptions. We do not train models on your data and will never do so in the future unless you explicitly opt in to share your data with us to improve our service.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our service (e.g., Google Cloud Storage for storing voice notes, Stripe for processing payments, Supabase for storing usage data).
5. Data Security
We built Scribert to prioritize the security of your data, which is why we don't store your billing information and most of the magic happens on our server, not in your browser. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security, especially where third parties like payment processors are involved.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
